 China has over
1
million orphans. Many live in the over 1000 state run orphanages
while others are in foster care, private orphanages, or various other
living situations. With so many
children, the need for care is great - ranging from basic nutrition,
urgent medical care, formal education, greater stimulation, and simply
a warm bed. Angel Covers
is committed to helping the Chinese meet these needs for children by
purchasing food and vitamins, helping fund surgeries and helping to
establish the national relief fund that the Chinese government began in

 Russia has
over
700,000 orphans, Many are victims of the Russian economic collapse in
1998. Like
so many other countries with large numbers of children in orphanages,
there is a great need to provide the basic things children
need; warm clothing, bedding, stimulation, and education.
These children are
required to leave the orphanage at age 17 and are unprepared to be on
their own. The first year away from the orphanage the majority
turn to crime, drugs or commit suicide. Angel Covers is
working to help the orphanages provide basic things children need to

 Babies need to
receive stimulation. Understaffed orphanages are not able to
provide the stimulation needed for all babies. If babies can't be
held, then getting them out of the cribs and in a position that enables

to support children and orphanages in all countries as we hear about
them. Our blanket program has the broadest  reach,

monetary support for needed supplies has also been given to many

problems we see are
solvable
with enough resources. Most of the time it is cost effective to
purchase the resources in the country being served. Monetary donations are the most straight
forward way to help. Using gift cards
