Mee graduated from Chiang Mai University in 2011. She has worked with girls in need of help in northern Thailand for nine years. She was born into a very poor family in a remote mountain village, where there was little food and no school. Without parental supervision, she was constantly hungry, tired, and worried. In her early years, she thought only of getting enough food for her little brother and sisters and keeping them all safe.
Fortunately, Mee was eventually accepted into an education program, which supported her throughout high school and college. She now devotes her life to helping other girls who need a chance to develop and continue their education in a safe environment. Mee believes that not everyone is born lucky, but everyone can have a better life through education, love, and care when given a chance. As a licensed social worker who was once an at-risk girl herself, Mee loves being able to offer advice and help girls like her succeed.
