Angela has been working on behalf of children in need since 2001 and with Angel Covers since 2005. As Education Director, she has facilitated the education of hundreds of orphaned and impoverished children. Whether working towards preventing child marriage on the Tibetan Plateau, or helping to prevent the trafficking of at-risk girls in Thailand, she knows that assisting girls to stay in school will be a life-long benefit to them. Vulnerable girls who have great academic potential and desire to learn, but no means to continue their education, have been the focus of her work for several years. Supporting girls to achieve their high school and college diplomas is particularly rewarding and cause for celebration.
Angela enjoys discovering new trails to run, hiking in Yosemite, and reading in her hammock. She holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Oklahoma and currently lives in California with her husband and three children.
