Kari Fillmore has made it her life’s work to be a voice for children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be heard. Kari has a Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver and has spent many years working with abused and neglected children. In 2004, she won the Congressional “Angels in Adoption” award for her work with children around the world. She is one of the original founders of Angel Covers.
Today, Kari continues her advocacy work on behalf of seniors and disabled individuals as a professional guardian and care manager. Kari has four grown children and loves spending as much time with them as possible. She also enjoys running, skiing, and most other outdoor activities.
